And it is women who are persecuted by human beings afflicted by obsessive disorders, and it is women who are raped, for one look too many, for one word too many. Those who face life with a monster within the walls of their home are always women, those young people who are sold as slaves, valued as inferior beings, are women.
This year Faxiflora also intends to take part in this day to give voice and space to a drama of global importance, which is increasingly taking place within the home (but not only), without distinction of age, social class and country from.
The recipients of Faxiflora floral transmissions are mostly women and we want to dedicate our reflections on this day to them. Comparing a woman to the delicacy of a flower makes sense today more than ever in a society in which tragic episodes of feminicide have occurred.
The "women's question" is mainly a cultural problem, which reflects a situation of backwardness in the country, even in man/woman relationships since women are killed precisely because they are women. The message that Faxiflora wants to express is that we can and must emerge from silence and resignation, from isolation and fear, from the delirium of oppression and death.
There are many bodies that have been set up in recent years whose objective is to talk about the problem of violence against women and girls (reiterating that to combat this violence it is important to act on relationships between men and women, strengthening mutual respect) and to concretely help women in difficulty, especially through networks of local operators (services, bodies, public and private associations) who, in various capacities, intervene in the area with actions to combat violence and abuse against women.
With the aim of raising awareness among the population and making the message known and reaching as many women as possible (victims or witnesses of violence) that they are not alone and that there is a local body that can help them, the International Day violence against women full of reviews and events organized by bodies, municipalities and associations
